Results Announced: One Competition, One Growing Community from 2025 Mediation Writing Competition in Vietnam

2025 Mediation Writing Competition in Vietnam

On Dec 11th, 2025, the global event and award ceremony were held with the participation of Vietnamese representatives.  In the event, we were pleased to announce the official results of the 2025 Mediation Writing Competition in Vietnam, organized by VietnamADR in collaboration with the Weinstein International Foundation with the support of ANT Lawyers.

This is the second year Mediation Writing Competition is organized in Vietnam after the 2024 mediation writing competition. This year’s competition attracted strong interest from students across Vietnam. We sincerely thank all students who participated and dedicated their time to research, reflection, and writing especially while managing busy academic schedules.

A Diverse and Engaged Student Community

This 2025 Mediation Writing Competition in Vietnam attracted more than 100 students who registered their interest in participating. From this pool, a large number went on to actively engage in learning activities, regional webinar with Singaporean experts with Singaporean, Indian students, networking events, and the submission process.

Based on participation data collected during the 2025 Mediation Writing Competition in Vietnam, students came from across the country.

Approximately 70% of participants were from the Northern region, around 30% from the South, and a smaller but meaningful group, about 2–3%, from the Central region. This nationwide spread reflects the growing interest in mediation and alternative dispute resolution beyond any single academic hub.

In terms of academic year, participation in the 2025 Mediation Writing Competition in Vietnam was strongest among students in the later stages of their studies. Roughly 40% of respondents were third year students, followed by about 25% who were fourth year students. Notably, nearly 24% were second year students, showing that many chose to engage with mediation writing earlier than expected. The remaining participants came from other study stages, adding further diversity to the group.

Beyond numbers, engagement levels in the 2025 Mediation Writing Competition in Vietnam were high. Students actively responded to polls, followed reminders, joined online discussions, and attended networking sessions, often while balancing demanding academic schedules. This level of participation highlights not only interest in the competition itself, but also a strong motivation to learn, connect, and grow.

Why These Numbers Matter

They show that the 2025 Mediation Writing Competition in Vietnam is not just reaching a narrow group of students, but is helping to form a broad, cross regional learning community.

Importantly, students did not participate only to compete. Many joined to:

  • explore mediation as a professional path,
  • learn new ways of thinking and writing, and
  • build early connections with international participants and practitioners.

Learning how to communicate, collaborate, and network across borders at an early stage is a valuable skill, one that will continue to benefit students long after the competition ends.
